Second child maid abuse case surfaces in Islamabad

Another torture case involving a baby maidservant was registered in Islamabad on weekday when a 12-year-old alleged that she was physically abused and not allowed to go to home for the past four years.

A First info Report (FIR) was lodged underneath Section 154 at the Golra station house on a grievance filed by the woman and her folks against the owner of the house wherever she was detained and his mother.

The two were taken into custody and questioned.

The woman named the owner of the house, his mother, his sister and another retainer in her grievance.
The maidservant alleged that she was tortured with hot knives and crushed with animal skin belts and wasn’t once allowed to go to her family over a four-year amount.
