Civilian martyred, two injured in Indian firing on LoC

Another civilian was martyred on the road of management (LoC) on weekday, taking the toll from India’s ceasefire violations on the LoC and therefore the operating Boundary (WB) to seven this week.

“Indian troops resorted to wanton firing of little arms and mortars on LoC in Nikyal sector,” the Inter-Services promotion (ISPR) aforesaid during a statement. “A 22-year-old woman embraced shahadat whereas 2 [other] civilians were contusioned.”

Pakistan Army troops, the military’s media wing supplementary, responded fitly to the Indian firing.

The violation came on a daily basis once the country’s civil and military leadership registered a powerful protest with capital of India over the deliberate targeting of Pakistani civilians, residing within the neighborhood of operating Boundary by Indian forces.

On Thursday and Fri, India’s Border force had killed six civilians in Chappa, Charwa and Harpal sectors.

As Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the DGMO of Asian country Army, raised the difficulty along with his counterpart, the Foreign Ministry summoned the Republic of Indian diplomat to record a powerful protest over India forces’ ceasefire violations.

In 2017 so far, Indian forces have meted out over 871 ceasefire violations on the LoC and therefore the weber, leading to the killing of thirty-nine innocent civilians and injuries to a hundred and forty four, as compared to 382 ceasefire violations in 2016, in keeping with the Foreign Ministry figures.
